Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Children's Services. This full-time permanent post will provide an excellent opportunity to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues and build your confidence and clinical skills in evidence-based assessment and intervention.

About the Team

The Community Paediatric Team has developed an innovative new pathway for ASD using co-production and QI methodology to transform our Services. We are a strong, enthusiastic, and supportive group of professionals who work closely together to provide high-quality care to children and young people.

Main Duties
  • Develop and implement new pathways for ASD, working closely with the Team Manager, Service Manager - Specialist Children Services, and Clinical Director.
  • Provide individual assessment, formulation, and intervention services to a wide range of children and young people.
Person Requirements

The successful candidate will have an entry-level qualification in Applied Psychology and additional training in a specialised area of psychological practice through formal post-qualification training (PG Diploma or equivalent). They will also have evidence of having worked as a clinical specialist under supervision in Children's Services and experience of proposing and implementing service development projects within their own service area.

Benefits and Salary

The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
