We're seeking a dedicated and organised Learning Mentor to join our vibrant Learning Support team at Exmouth Community College. As a Learning Mentor, you'll be part of a team of around 25 professionals, working closely with students across various subjects, with a focus on those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Led by our Assistant SENDCos and Senior Learning Mentors, you'll play a vital role in helping students achieve their potential.
Supporting Students with SEND, you'll help them overcome challenges and reach their academic goals. You'll work closely with students, teachers, and support staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Your Role will involve working closely with students, teachers, and support staff to help them overcome challenges and reach their academic goals. You'll be a key member of our Learning Support team, providing guidance, support, and resources to help students achieve their full potential.
Requirements include a passion for supporting students, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. You'll be expected to maintain confidentiality and adhere to the college's safeguarding policies.
