Blackfox Solutions is delighted to be working with a leading infrastructure company specialising in power, fibre, and civil engineering projects, focusing on innovative solutions for Battery Storage sites, Data Centres, and Wind Turbines.
About the RoleWe are seeking a passionate and dynamic Health and Safety Manager to take a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the highest standards of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment across their operations. This role is essential in championing a safety-first culture and ensuring compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement QHSE policies, fostering a company-wide safety culture.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections, ensuring compliance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Lead accident investigations, determining root causes and overseeing corrective actions.
- Deliver training, safety bulletins, and toolbox talks to promote awareness across the business.
- Maintain certifications (e.g., Constructionline, NICEIC, Achilles, CHAS) and ensure consistent adherence.
- Manage the Business Management System (BMS) and lead internal audits to uphold ISO standards.
- Collaborate on Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and safe work instructions.
- Prepare and present Monthly Management Reports and Quarterly Board Reports.
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent).
- Membership in IOSH or equivalent professional body.
- Environmental Management qualification (e.g., IEMA).
- Strong knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a QHSE role within the construction or utilities sector.
