Job Description

We are working with a market leading research organisation to assist with their recruitment of a Senior Financial Planning Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the budgeting, accounting and effective control of all overheads, operating costs and grant expenditure. They will work closely with academics to support financial management, ensuring appropriate use of funds.

  • Managing the budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning process
  • Engage with funders to identify funding opportunities and establish working relationships
  • Timely and accurate month end close and reporting for overheads
  • Accurate reporting and review of all overheads and grant expenditure with budget holders to ensure effective control of spend
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Business partnering support for key projects with relevant stakeholders

The ideal candidate will have ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification with at least 5 years PQE experience in business partnering, strong financial and management accounting background.
