Security Officer

About the Role
As a Security Officer at Marriott International, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, and property. Reporting to the Security Manager of W Edinburgh, you will be responsible for patrolling all areas of the property, assisting guests with room access, and monitoring security systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol all areas of the property to ensure a safe and secure environment
- Assist guests with room access and respond to emergencies
- Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system
- Conduct daily physical hazard inspections and respond to accidents
- Notify appropriate individuals in the event of accidents, attacks, or other incidents
- Defuse guest and employee disturbances and complete incident reports
- Escort any unwelcome persons from the property and maintain confidentiality of all Security and property reports/documents
- Conduct investigations and gather evidence, including interviews with relevant parties
