Our Ideal Candidate:
At Blackness Veterinary Surgery, we are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our small animal practice. As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with our Veterinary Surgeons and other nurses to deliver exceptional clinical care.

As a Veterinary Nurse, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be part of a close-knit team, working together to deliver the highest standards of patient care. Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Providing high-quality patient care, including administering medication, taking blood samples, and monitoring patients' vital signs.
  • Working closely with our Veterinary Surgeons and other nurses to deliver exceptional clinical care.
  • Participating in the development and implementation of treatment plans for patients.
  • Conducting routine checks on patients and reporting any concerns to the Veterinary Surgeons.
  • Providing excellent customer service to clients, answering their questions and addressing their concerns.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks, such as updating patient records and preparing medical reports.
