Key Responsibilities:

  • Upgrade and assemble systems to the latest version, ensuring all components are correctly integrated and functioning.
  • Troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise during the assembly and upgrading process.
  • Write, update, and maintain essential process documentation, including SOPs and technical guides.
  • Liaise with other departments to measure, record, correct, and prevent technical issues, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Maintain detailed records of all assembly, testing, and troubleshooting activities, providing valuable insights for process improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the assembly process, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve assembly processes and contribute to product development initiatives, driving innovation and growth.
  • Implement and maintain 5S methodology in the workspace, promoting a clean, organized, and efficient working environment.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the wider Operations group as required, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Minimum A-level education within an Engineering discipline, with a strong foundation in electromechanical principles.
  • At least 3 years' experience in electromechanical assembly, test, or repair environment, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience in developing assembly processes and enhancing documentation, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Familiarity with ISO9001, GLP/GMP is advantageous, demonstrating a commitment to quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to create clear and concise documentation.
  • Structured and methodical approach to tasks, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team, building strong relationships and collaborating effectively.
