About the Role

Glasgow Caledonian University is seeking a highly skilled Medical Simulation Technician to join our Directorate of School Professional Services (SPS). The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in a health background to enhance the skills mix of our established Technical Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process equipment requests and configure simulation equipment for teaching sessions
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot day-to-day technical issues
  • Maintain equipment inventories and procure relevant clinical supplies/PPE
  • Support the student experience by providing high-quality customer service

Requirements

  • Minimum of HNC in a nursing or allied health sciences subject or relevant experience in a medical simulation environment
  • Good problem-solving abilities and general IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
