NHS Highland is seeking highly motivated and skilled Advanced Practice Nurses to join our team as Bank Advanced Nurse Practitioners. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and expanding service, providing 24-hour cover across acute inpatient wards in Raigmore Hospital and National Treatment Centre – Highland.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, utilizing advanced practice skills in clinical assessment, clinical reasoning, and diagnostic decision-making.
- Lead, deliver, and evaluate care, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop and implement care plans, ensuring patient-centered and evidence-based practice.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvements, enhancing patient outcomes and experiences.
- Master's level qualification in Advanced Practice, with competence in clinical assessment, clinical reasoning, and diagnostic decision-making.
- Acute hospital experience at advanced practice level, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification, desirable for shifts within Raigmore Hospital, essential for NTC-H.
Successful applicants will be supported by an ANP Lead/Practice Development Nurse, with opportunities for learning and development tailored to individual needs. Consideration will be given to those holding this post as their sole employment, ensuring a supportive and inclusive work environment.
