About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at The Broadcaster, a dynamic and thriving hospitality establishment. As a vital member of our kitchen brigade, you will collaborate closely with our Head Chef to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Your role will involve leading and motivating the team during busy services, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to quality. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the kitchen team to achieve excellence in food quality and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement menus, ensuring consistency and quality
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering and stock control
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Monitor and control kitchen costs, including labor and inventory expenses

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in a senior kitchen role, preferably in a high-volume establishment
  • Proven track record of supporting and inspiring culinary teams to achieve excellence
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Passion for delivering outstanding food quality and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain composure under pressure
