The RoleWe're seeking a highly capable Engagement Manager to lead our Communications, Marketing and Community Engagement teams. This strategic role offers opportunities to contribute to our Council Plan 24-27 and work alongside our leadership team.
You'll be working at the heart of the council, leading communications and marketing during an exciting time for the district, while continuing good community engagement work and bringing a fresh perspective.
Your key responsibilities will include developing a customer experience strategy, reviewing our approach to community engagement, and leading health-focused partnerships to support delivery of Happy and Healthy Communities, one of our priority policies.
We recognize that achieving our goals requires a collaborative and joined-up approach with local communities, stakeholders, and partners, so internal and external partnership working is crucial.
This permanent position offers a 37-hour workweek, with flexible working requests considered. The post is hybrid, combining onsite and online meetings, bookable workspaces, and remote work.
About YouTo succeed in this role, you'll have experience leading multi-disciplinary teams, knowledge of communications, marketing, and community engagement, and the ability to identify with our organisational values: Pride, Ownership, Working Together, and Ambition.
