About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst/Consultant to join our team at Success at School. As a key member of our financial risk management team, you will be responsible for analyzing and assessing risks in various industries, including healthcare, pensions, insurance, banking, and investments.

The successful candidate will have a strong mathematical background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and assess risks in various industries using advanced mathematical techniques
  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business objectives
  • Communicate complex ideas and results to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and other materials

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Requirements
  • MSc or MPhil in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or Physics
  • At least 5 years of experience in actuarial analysis, risk management, or a related field
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with experience in programming languages such as R, Python, or SQL
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
