Critical Care Nurse

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Nurse to join our team in the Adult Critical Care Unit (ACCU). As a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high standards of clinical care to critically ill patients and contributing to the effective management of the nursing team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities- Deliver high standards of clinical care to critical care patients according to clinical guidelines and trust policies.
- Maintain effective communication between clinical areas, multidisciplinary teams, and service users.
- Function as a proficient clinical practitioner in the critical care area and a credible role model.
- Provide support and deputise for the senior sister/charge nurse in the effective day-to-day management of nursing team members.
- Coach, teach, and mentor junior nursing staff.
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
- Registrant with the NMC.
- Adult Critical Care Course.
- ILS/ALS provider.
- Specialist relevant clinical course.
- Management training.
- Completion of Step 4 Competencies.
