About the Role

Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People is seeking a dedicated and experienced nurse to join our Board of Trustees. As a Trustee, you will play a vital role in the governance and strategic direction of our charity, ensuring that we continue to provide the highest level of care and support to families across the East Midlands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance and oversight on children's and palliative care services
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our charity's strategy and policies
  • Support the Chief Executive and senior leadership team in their decision-making and governance roles
  • Ensure that our charity's finances and resources are managed effectively and efficiently

Requirements

  • Experience as a nurse in children's and/or palliative care
  • Strong governance and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Commitment to the values and mission of Rainbows Hospice
