Job Title: Backend Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our ML Ranking Platform team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing services that coordinate contextualized and personalized ranking.

About the Role

The ML Ranking Platform team builds and runs the services that connect users with the content they're looking for. We work closely with a team of MLEs to develop and produce new models and with a team of ML backend engineers that build inference and training services and feature stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop systems that meet latency and scalability requirements
  • Develop software using Go and Python, with a focus on testing, SOLID principles, and design patterns
  • Work with Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, and Postgres to ensure resilience, monitoring, and alerting
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Python and Go, object-oriented programming, and design patterns
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, and AWS or Google Cloud
