Job Description

Glavstart is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our retail convenience store and forecourt, ensuring that we deliver exceptional customer service and consistently high standards throughout our stores and forecourts.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage in-store facilities to ensure brand standards are met
  • Meet targets, manage costs, wages, waste, and cash shortages
  • Manage stock, ordering, and deliveries, ensuring all shortages and damages are reported within the correct timelines
  • Ensure customers are served quickly, professionally, and with excellent customer service
  • Recruit and manage the performance of your team, ensuring the correct level of training for their role
  • Ensure all daily cashing and banking tasks are completed accurately within the allocated timelines
  • Maximize sales by ensuring product availability across the store, managing merchandising, and in-store promotions
  • Implement company policies and procedures to ensure the store operates in a safe and legal manner, covering all aspects of food safety
  • Manage the store and forecourt, ensuring high standards are met
  • See in fuel deliveries safely and legally to meet the needs of the business
  • Manage the retail sale of alcohol
  • Oversee food preparation and the cooking of bake-off products
Requirements
  • Ideal experience in retail
  • Flexible to work between Monday and Sunday
  • Right to work in the UK
