A highly skilled Lead Mechanical Engineer is required to join our client's team in Northern England or Bristol. This is a permanent and long-term position that offers hybrid and flexible working arrangements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of mechanical engineering systems, equipment, and components. They will work closely with other engineers, suppliers, and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality products that meet the challenging demands of the Defence and Weapons Systems industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of mechanical engineering systems, equipment, and components.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver complex engineering projects.
  • Engage with suppliers to develop and capture equipment and component specifications.
  • Collaborate with customers to develop requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Perform and review engineering calculations and analysis to make informed decisions.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical Engineering background in Rotator Machinery, Components, or Fluid Dynamics.
