Job Role:

Field Service Engineer (Agricultural/Horticultural Machinery)

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Cirencester, Gloucestershire. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing agricultural machinery, including tractors, combines, and bailers.

The Package:
  1. A competitive salary between £30,000-£40,000 dependent on experience
  2. 32 days holiday including bank holidays, increasing with service
  3. Overtime available at 1.5X midweek, x2 on Sundays and Bank Holidays
  4. Holiday overtime pay - paid in May (£1,500 paid last year)
  5. Ongoing commitment to training and progression
  6. Pension scheme - 3% employee minimum, 8% employer
  7. Company van, Fuel Card, mobile phone etc
  8. All Travel Time, Expenses paid from home to/from site.
  9. A fantastic Earning Potential with scope to progress
The Duties:
  1. Accurately diagnosing faults, servicing and carrying out emergency repairs/breakdowns on agricultural machinery
  2. Travel to customer sites to ensure all machinery is maintained and repaired to the highest quality
  3. Carry out diagnostics to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on agricultural and horticultural machinery
  4. The ability to work independently within the customer sites and collaborate with colleagues to ensure documentation and the perfect solution is offered
  5. Working on engines, batteries and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs
The Requirements:
  1. Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential)
  2. Previous experience working within the Agricultural industry (essential)
  3. Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience (advantageous)
  4. Experience working with engines and batteries (advantageous)
  5. Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
  6. Full UK Drivers License
