About This Role

We are currently recruiting for a skilled Highway Structures CAD Designer to join our Highways team in Esher. This role involves producing high-quality engineering models and drawings for highway structures and bridges, with a focus on technical draughting skills.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret engineering drawings and sketches prepared by engineers and translate them into accurate AutoCAD models (3D and 2D) and drawings for bridges/highway structures.
  • Work to and follow BIM project delivery and quality standards.
  • Deliver accurate models and drawings within project timeframes and budgets.
  • Have a sound understanding of typical highway structure/bridge components.
  • Assist in supervising and training junior team members to produce accurate drawings and models.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Requirements
  • HNC or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and knowledge of BIM software.
  • Desirable: EngTech qualification and reinforced concrete detailing experience.
