About the Role
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our Disabled Travel Team, where you will play a vital role in managing a caseload of Blue Badge and Freedom Pass applications. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that applications are processed efficiently and accurately against set criteria while providing excellent customer service.
You will be responsible for screening applications from the initial stages, ordering badges and passes on different computer systems, and supporting vulnerable residents over the phone and via email. Training will be provided, and if you are successful, you will be joining a supportive team with a hands-on approach.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to be an enthusiastic, passionate, and motivated individual who is compassionate and dedicated to ensuring the best possible experience for our customers. We particularly welcome applications from members of the black, Asian, and ethnic minority communities to increase representation at senior management level in the Council.
