Job Title: HLTA - Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Join GSL Education as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant and support the class teachers with their lessons in mainstream Primary Schools based in Southampton. As a key member of the support staff team, you will work alongside the class teachers to deliver high-quality education to students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the class teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Work with the support staff team to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist with the management of student behavior and provide guidance to students as needed
  • Contribute to the development of the curriculum and educational programs
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a teaching or support role is desired but not essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Passion for teaching and a strong command of the curriculum
