About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audit and Accounts Semi-Senior to join our team in Stockport. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for preparing statutory, management, and limited company accounts, as well as carrying out VAT and corporate tax returns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in all areas of an audit from planning through to completion
  • Complete high-quality audits for a varied portfolio of clients across the north-west, particularly OBM/SME sectors
  • Take an active role in the ongoing training of junior members
  • Report into seniors/managers and study for professional qualifications
Requirements

We are looking for a professional with proven experience working in an audit team, exposure to all three aspects of an audit, and experience in preparing accounts and coaching junior members. Ideally, you will be AAT/ACA/ACCA part-qualified or qualified by experience.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create and develop professional relationships are essential, as the role is heavily client-facing. Strong IT skills, specifically with Xero, Sage, Excel, and QuickBooks, are highly desired.
