About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Care Specialist to join our Outpatients Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- To work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care and support.
- To maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring timely and efficient communication with colleagues and other healthcare teams.
- To contribute to the development and implementation of new procedures and initiatives that enhance patient care and experience.
- To provide emotional support and reassurance to patients, families, and carers, promoting a positive and empathetic environment.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proven customer services skills
- Be a highly motivated individual
- Enjoy working in constantly and rapidly changing environments
- Great communication skills
- Flexible approach to duties and hours
