A challenging role as Executive Chef - Food Services Manager has become available at Austin Fraser. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our kitchen team in providing exceptional food services to our residents.

We require an individual who can oversee the management of a full kitchen team, including a second chef and kitchen assistants, ensuring efficient kitchen services and adherence to Health and Safety measures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring supplier performance, supporting cost-effective stock control systems, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and food storage areas.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring supplier performance and prices to ensure competitiveness
  • Supporting cost-effective stock control systems to minimize waste
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
  • Ensuring safe working procedures and practices are implemented

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 in Catering or equivalent QCF qualification, with experience in supervisory roles and relevant qualifications in Food and Hygiene or Catering Services.

Estimated salary for this role is around £38,000 per annum, plus company benefits.
