Experienced Senior Site Engineer Required

We are recruiting a skilled Senior Site Engineer to work on a long-term project near Doncaster for a leading civil engineering contractor.

The successful candidate will be part of a busy workload, including projects valued up to 30 million with Yorkshire Water and Severn Trent Water.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining health, safety, and environmental compliance in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Developing and implementing Inspection Test Plans and Inspection Test Reports.
  • Ensuring quality control measures are in place.
  • Coordinating site-specific permits.
  • Liaising with subcontractors.
  • Assisting with Construction Phase Plans.
  • Managing a team of engineers, including Graduate/Site/Section Engineers.
  • Conducting on-site inspections and ensuring engineering work meets required standards.
  • Complex setting out as needed.
  • Reporting directly to the Site Agent and Project Manager.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience working as a Section Engineer/Sub-Agent/Senior Site Engineer on heavy civil engineering projects.
  • Prior experience working as a main contractor on projects exceeding 10 million.
  • Proficiency in using relevant equipment: Leica Total Station (or equivalent), GPS, and AutoCAD.
  • A relevant industry-related qualification is beneficial (HNC/HND or Degree).
  • Ongoing certification in CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS, and a full driving license.

Remuneration Package:

A competitive salary of up to 56,000, dependent upon experience, plus benefits including an EV/Hybrid company vehicle or allowance, annual leave, 7% pension, fuel paid, healthcare, share scheme, and other perks.
