As a Senior Fire and Security Project Engineer at Platinum Resourcing (UK) Ltd, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and management of fire and security systems projects. You will also provide technical expertise to junior engineers and technicians, upskilling and providing spot inspection checks and guidance.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain fire alarm and security systems
- Attend customer callouts as required
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment
- Promote continuous improvement and professional development within the team
- Identify training needs of team members
- Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations and company policy
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Conduct project meetings and presentations as required
- Address client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
- Scheduling appointments and management of own service route
- A minimum of 5 years' fire alarm and/or fire industry experience required
- 17th Edition Electrical qualification is preferential but not essential
