We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Manager - Client Services to join our team at Blue Cross. As a key member of our rehoming, advice, and behaviour unit in Sheffield, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operational delivery of our client journeys.
As Assistant Manager - Client Services, you will be responsible for overseeing the admission and adoption processes, managing enquiries from the public, prioritising admissions, promoting pets in care, and facilitating successful adoptions. You will also lead a team of Pet Welfare Assistants, empowering them through effective management and coaching to reach their full potential.
We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of the processes and stages involved in admitting and matching pets with their new owners. You will have a passion for exceptional client service, coupled with strong analytical skills, allowing you to rigorously monitor, assess, and evaluate to drive meaningful improvements.
About YouWe are looking for someone who is a positive and innovative manager, able to inspire and motivate their team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will have excellent communication skills, adapting your approach to resonate with different audiences, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, staying calm and organised while juggling multiple tasks and making sound decisions under pressure.
You will have experience of working in a rescue welfare environment, managing a team, delivering high-level client service, and working in a fast-paced environment. You will also have a high standard of verbal and written communication, proven decision-making ability, and a current full driving licence.
