Senior Mechanical Engineer wanted at Wright Engineering, a leading provider of materials handling solutions. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and implementing advanced materials handling systems across a range of industries.

Our team works collaboratively to design and optimize systems that improve operational performance, efficiency, and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Play a central role in bulk materials handling projects, focusing on high-quality, technically sound design solutions within project timelines and budgets.
  • Provide in-depth engineering knowledge on conveyor systems, chutes, feeders, hoppers, and other bulk handling equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and reliability.
  • Develop and validate the design of material handling systems, performing necessary calculations for load, capacity, and material flow.
  • Work directly with clients to understand requirements and ensure that engineering solutions align with their operational needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of experience in bulk materials handling, including significant exposure to conveyor systems, feeders, and hoppers.
  • Expertise in relevant software tools, such as AutoCAD, Tekla, AdvanceSteel or similar for design, and FEA tools for stress analysis.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with experience in identifying practical and efficient solutions for complex technical issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly presenting complex technical information to clients and stakeholders.
