Job Opportunity: Wiltshire College & University Centre is seeking a skilled Carpentry professional to join our faculty as a Lecturer in Carpentry.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to teach and mentor students in carpentry, with a focus on delivering high-quality education and training. As a Lecturer in Carpentry, you will be responsible for:

  • Teaching and Mentoring: Deliver engaging and practical lessons to students of various skill levels, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Curriculum Development: Develop and update curriculum to keep up with industry trends and standards, ensuring our students receive the best possible education.
  • Collaboration: Work with a team of dedicated professionals to foster a positive learning environment and contribute to the growth and development of our students.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven track record in carpentry, with hands-on industry experience and a strong understanding of trade skills.
  • Qualifications: A Level 3 NVQ in Carpentry or a related field, or equivalent qualifications and experience.
  • Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring students, with a passion for delivering high-quality education and training.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
