About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Transport Planning to lead our Development Planning discipline in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and technical expertise to our clients across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategic direction of the development planning discipline in Birmingham, aligning with the company's wider vision.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to acquire new clients and expand existing relationships.
  • Provide technical expertise on the UK planning environment to clients and stakeholders.
  • Oversee bid processes and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage and develop a team of transport planners, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in leading transport planning teams and developing business development strategies.
  • Extensive knowledge of the UK planning environment and ability to provide technical expertise to clients.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
