About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Earlham Primary School. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the specific needs of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Class Teacher and Inclusion Lead in planning and delivering learning activities tailored to individual pupils' needs.
  • Provide small group and individual support to pupils, promoting their access to a high-quality learning experience and achieving the best outcomes.
  • Support pupils in the school breakfast and after-school club, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement Individual Learning Plans, ensuring pupils' progress and well-being.
  • Contribute to the overall ethos and aims of the school, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
Requirements
  • GCSE or equivalent (Functional skills) English (Grade 4) essential
  • GCSE or equivalent (Functional skills) Maths (Grade 4) essential
What We Offer
  • 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8.30am to 3.30pm)
  • Term-time only (38 weeks per year)
