About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at The Avalon Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting a young female customer with Global Development Delay, enabling her to live a fulfilling life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the customer with her independence, working towards her goals and aspirations
  • Participate in activities such as walks and swimming, tailored to the customer's interests
  • Continue support at local day services, promoting social interaction and community engagement
  • Assist with personal care, ensuring the customer's dignity and well-being are maintained

Requirements

  • Availability to work 5 days a week, between 10am and 5pm
  • Ability to participate in activities with the customer, including crafts and swimming
  • Drive and compassion to support the customer's needs
