Language Interpreter Required in Newtown Powys

Job Description: As a freelance interpreter with Language Empire, you will interpret for people using legal, health, and local government services. You will listen to, understand, and memorize content in the source language, then reproduce it into the target language with 100% accuracy. Your role will involve conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting, dealing with highly confidential information, and liaising between service users and providers. The estimated salary for this position is £25-35 per hour, depending on your experience and qualifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you must be fluent in English and another language, have the right to work in the UK, and be aged 21 or over. Formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registration, or a Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages are advantageous.
