We are seeking a skilled Truck Maintenance Technician to join our Virtual Hub Workshop Team in Brighton & Hove. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to diverse fleet repairs and maintenance.

The successful candidate will have a background in a busy workshop environment, with Level 3 qualifications in mechanics and a proven ability to learn new technologies.

This is a temporary role for 3 months, with a view to going permanent. We offer competitive pay and a range of benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, service, and inspect a fleet of HGV, non HGV, and specialist vehicles, including MOT programmes.
  • Work with advanced electronic diagnostic systems, interpreting technical data to diagnose and repair complex faults.
  • Complete paperwork for repairs and insurance claims, ensuring compliance with legislation.
  • Undergo manufacturer training on vehicles and equipment, and stay up-to-date with legislative and technical changes.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle and machinery repairs.
  • Perform work independently, ensuring quality service and maintaining high standards for health and safety.
  • Keep the workshop and store clean and tidy.

Requirements: Level 3 qualified mechanic with a background in a busy workshop environment, ability to learn new technologies, and willingness to expand skillsets.

Location: Brighton & Hove, Pay: £19 per hour (PAYE), Hours: Monday to Fridays 09:00-18:00, Duration: 3 months, with a view to going permanent.
