About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Psychologist to join our established interdisciplinary chronic pain team based in the East Sussex area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessments and formulations, and delivering individual and group interventions as part of our chronic pain service.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective psychological interventions to support patients with chronic pain
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Conduct assessments and formulate treatment plans to address the psychological aspects of chronic pain
- Provide consultation and advice to other healthcare professionals on psychological aspects of pain management
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures

Person Specification
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Principal Psychologist with a passion for working in the field of chronic pain management. The ideal candidate will have a British Psychological Society Accredited post-graduate doctoral degree in an applied field of psychology and be registered with The Health & Care Professions Council as a 'Practitioner Psychologist'.
