Job Title: Technical Training Officer

FM Conway is seeking a skilled Technical Training Officer to join our Learning and Development team. This full-time, permanent role will be based at our Sevenoaks head office, with travel requirements across London, the South East, and South West.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify training needs and deliver heavy plant operation training and health and safety training across the business.
  • Coordinate individual, web-based, or group training as required and assist in maximizing grants and industry rebates.
  • Design, deliver, and develop effective, imaginative, compelling, and cost-effective learning solutions for the organization.
  • Support, update, and deliver renewal/refresher training that improves the technical knowledge and performance of teams.
  • Collect, compile, and report the results of training evaluations, attendance, performance, and training data.
  • Market and promote training courses to ensure maximum attendance and value for money.
  • Research training suppliers and materials to include cost comparisons and timelines.
Requirements:
  • Confident communicator with experience in a similar role.
  • Strong IT skills and knowledge of up-to-date health and safety issues.
  • Teaching or training background is beneficial but not essential.
  • Plant tickets - NPORS: Roller, telehandler counterbalance loading shovel 360 above and below 10t Dumper.
  • ALLMI: HGV cranes hook brick grab clamshell.
  • NPORS instructor accredited.
  • HGV class 1&2 licence.
