Care Home Befriender Volunteer

About the Role:

We are seeking a volunteer to provide companionship and support to individuals with acquired brain injury and other neurological conditions in our care home setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Visit and engage with residents for companionship
  • Participate in activities and hobbies with residents to build rapport
  • Provide regular one-to-one support and assistance
  • Develop trusting relationships with residents based on understanding and empathy
Requirements:
  • Able to commit to regular visits
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Estimated Salary: £12,000 - £15,000 per annum (pro-rata)
