We are seeking an experienced and skilled Local Taxation (Council Tax) Officer to join our forward-thinking Revenues and Benefits department.

• Manage Council Tax accounts and provide guidance on eligible discounts, exemptions, and reliefs to residents and ratepayers.
• Issue statutory bills and amendment notices to ensure regulatory obligations are met.
• Review Council Tax discounts to validate awards.

• Provide excellent customer service and guidance to residents and ratepayers.
• Ensure accurate and timely issuance of statutory bills and amendment notices.
• Conduct regular reviews of Council Tax discounts to ensure validity of awards.

• Strong understanding of Council Tax legislation and guidance.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
