About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our team at Dorset HealthCare University NHS. As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing exceptional support to our staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality domestic support services to our staff and patients, including cleaning, laundry, and maintenance tasks.
  • Work collaboratively with our facilities team to ensure the upkeep of our buildings and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with our staff and patients, providing a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Contribute to the development of our facilities and services, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting innovative solutions.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
  • Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Demonstrable skills in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and patients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and tasks.
