About the Role:

Chroma Recruitment Ltd is currently working with a leading FinTech company based in Manchester, seeking an experienced Senior React Native Engineer to join their dynamic team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mobile developer looking for a new challenge, offering a competitive salary of £75,000 per annum and flexible working options.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of the company's React Native mobile app and its white labelled versions, which support the company's unique Fintech platform used to streamline and secure financial processes.

You will work closely with a team of senior developers, including two Senior Backend Developers and a Senior Frontend Developer, as well as the CTO, to own and drive forward the company's mobile app from planning to release. Additionally, you will be involved in the mentorship and development of a junior mobile developer. As the company has recently received significant investment, you will play a pivotal part in the platform's growth moving forward and raising the standard of React Native development across the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Leading the development of the company's React Native mobile app and its white labelled versions
  • • Collaborating with senior developers to drive forward the mobile app from planning to release
  • • Mentoring and developing a junior mobile developer
  • • Contributing to the growth and development of the company's mobile app and Fintech platform


Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • • At least 3 years of experience in React Native development
  • • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
  • • Experience working with backend developers
  • • A provable list of mobile apps published on the app store or play store
  • • Experience with mobile app deployment


Desirable Skills:

A background in building web applications using ReactJS, experience working in a micro-service based environment, and skills in backend development languages such as NodeJS, Scala, or Java would be highly desirable.
