Accountancy Practice Manager

Job Title: Senior Accountant Position
A well-established firm of chartered accountants and tax advisers in the South West of England is seeking a part-time Senior Accountant to join their friendly team.
This office-based role at the Okehampton office requires a suitable commute to the area. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an accountancy practice environment, be ACA/ACCA qualified/part-qualified, and possess excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan workload for the accounts team
- Ensure monthly workload targets are met
- Prepare statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
- Assist management with finalising accounts
- Train junior members of the team
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an accountancy practice
- ACA/ACCA qualified/part-qualified
- Excellent attention to detail and written/verbal communication skills
- Confident dealing with clients and working within a team
Remuneration:
- Competitive salary (£35,000 - £45,000 per annum)
- Competitive holiday allowance
- 20-25 hours per week
