Mental Health Teaching Assistant Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for a passionate and experienced teaching assistant to support students with social, emotional, and mental health needs. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their full potential.
You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create personalized education plans that address the unique needs of each student. Your experience in working with children or adolescents in an educational or mental health setting will be essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Support students in a classroom setting, promoting their academic and personal development.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and updates on education plans.
- Degree in Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Relevant qualifications and training in supporting students with mental health needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
