Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our Middlesbrough site. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment, including flow wrappers and ultrasonic cutters, to ensure seamless production operations.

About the Role

You will work closely with our production, hygiene, and technical departments to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues. Your strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail will be essential in maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and hygiene on our busy food manufacturing site.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production operations.
  3. Work collaboratively with the engineering team to maintain and improve plant maintenance processes and procedures.
  4. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines.
