Betfred is a leading technology company that is revolutionizing the betting and gaming industry. We are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to join our team and help us achieve our mission of dominating the global market.

Job Purpose

We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to produce scalable software solutions. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. You will have a good understanding of software development best practices, architectures, and design patterns, and be able to work closely with other Developers, Product Owners, and Technical Architects.

Job Duties
  1. Implement sections of functionality, ensuring they are delivered on time with the correct approach and to the standards defined.
  2. Assist in enhancing existing software components and adding new features, writing necessary technical documentation.
  3. Support the Testing and Validation during the change lifecycle.
  4. Estimate technical requirements to help plan deliveries.
  5. Participate in the technical design, code review, and deployment process.
  6. Contribute to maintaining a positive, healthy, and inclusive learning culture by working in a geographically distributed agile team.
  7. Mentor other team members.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Essential:

  1. Comfortable working with both front- and back-end languages.
  2. Significant commercial experience in the web stack of C#, React, HTML, CSS, Typescript, and JavaScript.
  3. Demonstrable understanding of fundamental software development best practices, clean architectures, and design patterns.
  4. Proponent of high-quality code and able to demonstrate methods and practices to achieve metrics like high unit and integration test coverage.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills and high adaptability.
  6. Awareness of modern deployment methodologies.
  7. Strong sense of ownership, accountability, transparency, and drive.

Desirable:

  1. Someone who works to increase team cohesion by being a collaboration-first person – such as helping upskill peers, engaging in pair programming, and providing high-quality code reviews.
  2. A willingness to challenge process and existing ways of working or to truly own the domain you're a part of, pushing for innovation through valuable technical or non-technical change.

Experience with SQL/NoSQL/MongoDB databases, RabbitMQ, Instana, Grafana, containerization tools knowledge like Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
