Job Title: Kitchen Shift Leader

Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences? Do you have a proven track record of managing high-performing teams in fast-paced kitchen environments? We're seeking a talented Kitchen Shift Leader to join our team at Haven Holidays.

About the Role:

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of our restaurants' kitchens, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all.
  • Assist in delivering performance targets against budget, manage stock, margin, and cost control.
  • Complete relevant administrative tasks, such as safety and legislative compliance checks.
  • Lead and coach the team, ensuring they work productively and are guest-obsessed.
  • This is a hands-on role where you'll lead from the front, cooking 85% of the time, while also managing kitchen standards on health, safety, and hygiene.

Requirements:

  • Experience leading large teams in a fast-paced kitchen or similar environment.
  • Experience in managing operations, performance, resources, and cost control.
  • Confidently deal with guest concerns and resolve problems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Strong decision-making ability.

Working Hours:

Working hours are on a rota over a 7-day period and may include evenings and weekends (depending on the role). We aim to offer flexibility where possible, including full or part-time hours.
