Pulsed Power Systems Design Role

AWE is looking for a highly skilled Physicist or Electrical/Electronic Engineer to join our Pulsed Power team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in pulsed power systems design and development, with a focus on delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented engineer to work on cutting-edge projects, designing and developing pulsed power systems. As a member of our Pulsed Power team, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver project goals, while maintaining a strong understanding of power distribution, including power network modelling and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop pulsed power systems for AWE's defence programmes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project goals
  • Maintain a strong understanding of power distribution, including power network modelling and analysis
  • Contribute to the development of new technologies and innovations
