About the Opportunity

We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a Principal Engineer - Electrical Services to join our dynamic team at Code Resources LTD.

In this role, you will lead electrical design on large projects and manage full MEP on small to medium-sized projects. You will work directly with clients, handle project teams, and serve as the electrical technical lead.

With a strong background in Electrical and Building Services Engineering, you will have consultancy experience with knowledge of sustainability and interdisciplinary design. You will also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.

As a key member of our electrical engineering department, you will play an integral part in delivering high-quality design and contributing to the development of team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client relationships and lead technical meetings.
  • Supervise project workload and provide mentorship to junior staff.
  • Oversee project costs, ensure quality standards, and coordinate deliverables.
Requirements

• Estimated salary: £58,000 + Flexible Benefits (average 25% more)

• Extensive expertise in Electrical and Building Services Engineering is required.

• Consultancy experience with knowledge of sustainability and interdisciplinary design is essential.

• Ability to work independently, mentor team members, and manage client-facing tasks.

• Chartered or near-chartered engineer status with a consultative approach.
