Electrical Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Loughborough. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and documentation of electrical wiring harnesses and other electrical work packages.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Generate electrical drawings and panel layouts with supporting electrical documentation, including Bill of Materials, Component Lists, Cable Schedules, and Terminal Rail Layouts.
  • Ensure all electrical drawings are updated promptly throughout the project lifecycle and shared with relevant departments.
  • Maintain a database of preferred electrical devices to ensure consistency in functional hardware across projects.
Key Skills:
  • Educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficient in Solidworks Electrical or similar CAD package.
  • Experience with schematic capture and harness design.
