About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AWS Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM). As a key member of our Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to support our digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize infrastructure requirements
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
  • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure performance issues
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and features to ensure our infrastructure remains secure and efficient
Requirements
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS
  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
