About the Role
We are seeking a diligent Nursery Cleaner to join our Tops Day Nurseries team. This is a part-time opportunity, working approximately 12.5 hours per week.
Job Description:
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure the nursery premises, including laundry facilities, are clean and well-maintained. Check stock levels and re-order materials as necessary.
- Equipment Operation: Familiarize yourself with all cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, dishwashers, washing machines, tumble dryers, and steam cleaners.
- Disinfection and Waste Management: Disinfect surfaces, toys, and furniture to maintain a hygienic environment, and empty bins and dispose of waste correctly.
- Communal Area Cleaning: Maintain the cleanliness of communal areas, including kitchens and staff rooms.
- Dusting and Sweeping: Dust and sweep all areas, including floors and furniture.
Requirements:
- Cleaning Experience: Previous experience in a cleaning role is essential. Experience in childcare or educational settings is highly valued.
- Hygiene and Safety: A good understanding of hygiene and safety standards, particularly in environments where children are present.

- Attention to Detail: Ability to work efficiently and independently, with attention to detail.
